Spring has Sprung

HAPPY SPRING! Long time no post right? It seems as if life has gotten super busy; and trust me, it has! All good things though, and I cannot wait until I can share them with you. Oh the suspense! There are many things happening behind the scenes at Sewing Sober, so if you'd like to stay up to date, make sure you check out the IG feed! Now that we've cleared the air, Jessica from Lil Luxe Collection is having a SPRING SALE (affiliate link) on all of her patterns :) So if you have been on the fence about buying a certain pattern, now is the time! I figured I would show you one outfit that has been sitting in my cue for quite some time, which is this darling floral, Socialite Peplum, that has been updated with a new added cowl.

This is my 4th Socialite peplum that I have made. If you would like to read my previous posts here and here, they go into more detail of the many reasons why I love this pattern!

I will say that the design of this top never lets me down. The princess seams are what hook me in; every. single. time. I mean, they just add the subtle detail needed to make a good pattern, great. I also am a huge fan of how Jessica goes about constructing her patterns. From design to the instructions, I have been a completely satisfied customer when I purchase a pattern from LLC.

Pattern:
Socialite Peplum
Size:
18mo
Fabric:
Grey woven is from Joann's
Floral knit for the cowl is from Girl Charlee last year
Modifications:
None

I hope you enjoyed this quick post! Also, if you haven't checked out the sale (affiliate link) be sure to do so! Happy Spring everyone :)
